I spoke with the AP and she was very apologetic. I'm definitely using this as an opportunity to teach my son but I will also file a report (he's had things like paper airplanes crushed, so it's becoming physical). I also asked to be put in contact with the boys parents but haven't spoken with them yet. I think every bus should assign seats. Seems like a pretty simple solution.... And if it doesn't stop, I'll pull him off the bus for the rest of the year. Yeah it's life, yeah he will have to deal with bullies but being told to shut up and I hate you, daily is NOT ok. And if I have to start dropping him off at the boys bus stop everyday to show him I'm not playing, I will. I had a little sympathy for the kid but after he continued to bully my son RIGHT after I spoke to him.... done!!!
Crushed paper airplanes?!? You need to be carful not to raise a puss. Learning how to defend and avoid are essential skills and having mommy come running for even the trivial stuff will send a strong message that all he has to do is cry for the cavalry. Say the super mommy for when he really needs it like two crushed paper airplanes
