I am sure you mean well but it is their constitutional right to NOT say the pledge of allegiance. I don't want you to be fired if you made a stink (making kids explain their stance) about not saying the pledge.

Your strident and needlessly indignant reaction here misses the point, pp. PP is a teacher. If the whole point of taking a knee is to protest the treatment of black citizens and spark a dialogue/discussion, you're upbraiding a teacher for wanting to probe why some kid would do this? I'm pretty sure pp doesn't intend to "make a stink" but rather facilitate a conversation. Why don't you simmer the hell down?[/quote]
