Taylor has also donated a ton of money, reached out to many of her fans on a personal level, and most recently stood up against sexual harassment. Still love that she sued for (and won) $1.
PP and she is a genuinely nice person or she is well marketed to appear that way. No scandals. Her concerts have a positive message. I will take an 11 or 12 year old to her concerts because she is squeaky clean and scandal free. She is smart enough to know that if your market is young adults, the parents ultimately control the purse strings and decide whether to buy the concert tickets or the t-shirt. And tween-teen girls are her bread and butter. Maybe it is genuine. Maybe it is a marketing schtick. Either way, I want my money supporting someone modeling positive values and treating other people well. Rather than DUIs and rehab stints. That said, I do think she is going to need to evolve. It is a lot easier to be a relatable role model for teens and tweens at 20 than 35 or 40. She is going to need to grow up with her fans somehow. Right now, she seems to act very young for approaching 30.
