My other son is older and mostly stays upstairs (he is five years older and usually comes down to say hello then retreats to his room).[/quote] If it is not enjoyable for you..stop doing this. No one is having a good time. Schedule some family events..like Sunday dinner every other week for everyone and otherwise only see each other without the kids. If you do get married, the kids will not have playdates. They will do their own thing.[/quote]
