They didn't have the same pre-AP class prep as the students who will follow them. They still had to take and pass several APs including at least 1 science, math, English AP. And whether they passed the exams or not, their AP exam grades actually count toward their GPAs, unlike any other school in the city. The school hasn't released SAT scores -- or ACT scores -- and likely won't because the class is so small. We can all see next year how it's reflected in the US News and Washington Post rankings.
