Those families already trek to SD for upper elementary, which isn't offered at MO. It's a city-wide school, not a neighborhood school, and people have and will travel for it. Not everyone, but a majority will.[/quote]

It's clear that both Ward 4 and Ward 5 families want to convince each other that their Ward should be the chosen Ward and each can make a case - population for Ward 4, likely more affordable buildings in Ward 5.  I hope the school is only looking for schools close to the boundaries of both of those Wards.  With all due respect to Wards, 6,7,8, you probably can't practically pick a school that will be most convenient for the 11% of kids from those Wards, but I understand your concerns.  All of these considerations are likely why it has been so hard to find a satisfactory location.  [/quote]

We have actually only heard this news from one person, so I while I don't doubt their belief in what they have heard, until we hear more officially, we shouldn't worry and ponder the location too much.  [/quote]
