OP here....I get that people sometimes NEED to take long flights with little kids (funeral, visit family overseas, etc) but why would you take a little kid who you KNOW is awful on flights on a transatlantic flight if it's just for a vacation? [b]Not saying that's the case here,[/b] but it blows my mind people are so inconsiderate. Your two year old won't appreciate Europe or wherever anyways. [/quote]

Just stop it with this dumb argument. You don't know why the PP is traveling. She's clearly not one of those parents who blithely gets wasted while her kid freaks out. You don't have a right to a totally serene uninterrupted flight. You just don't. Get over yourself.[/quote]

No parent looks forward to flying with their child and no parent wants to hear their child read a book out loud.  Parents just pray the flight goes fast and that nothing major happens.  Parents just want their families to blend in and wish they can relax on a flight.  They are thankful of the only thing their kid does is talk loudly.  They live in fear of asses like you and love when anyone shows them a slice of kindness.[/quote]
