Not a lawyer so forgive me if this is a dumb question. Can he “plea” out early for a lower sentence so they can avoid the media attention from the trial? Apparently the minimum sentence for his conviction is 15 years to life with parole. [/quote]

His new lawyer may do that if she thinks he’s a basket case.

However if the new lawyer woman wants to take in a bigger political stance and thinks his persona might be successful at that monkey show, her ego may do that.
