This is so true.  And even if the kids have their doubts, they are still so dependent on Kate and her approval, staying off her bad side.  I know this myself, as the scapegoat in my family.  If anyone spoke out against my mother, they were on the outs then too.  And she made sure the kids were in need of her to keep the strings attached.

Of all of them, I hope Collin and Hannah will be the ones to succeed.  The others are victims too, including Mady.  Watching someone get abused damages you too.  Once you realize how effed  up your mother is and not everyone's families/moms treat their kids this way.

Bottom line - Kate, with all her religious platitudes when the kids were little.  Going to churches and asking for handouts.  She has a lot to answer for.  She sold her soul for fame and fortune.[/quote]
