There was a statement made to a reporter that he was delusional and that the relationship only existed in his head, said to be someone close to family as source. But,court docs seemed to indicate either dated or ex-boyfriend?

No great way to handle unsafe people, it was said that he reached out repeatedly. And that he also went to their church. They were very involved, so, not easy to walk away. I can't imagine going to the funeral with memories of the killer in the same building.

a) It was the middle of the night. She had probably just been sleeping, maybe couldn’t see well due to not having contacts in/glasses on, murderer may have been wearing a mask or something that disguised him, she was probably totally out of it and terrified and disoriented. It’s not hard to imagine how all those factors would make it difficult for her to recognize him

B) I think it’s been reported that the bedroom where the murder took place/where she and her husband were sleeping was downstairs so maybe it had a bathroom attached or nearby and she hid there since it was the only place she had time to get away to.[/quote]
