Have you ever been pregnant? A pregnancy ending before 12 weeks is a minor procedure, and yes it may cause feelings of sadness for some women, but you can physically recover pretty quickly. A full-term pregnancy and childbirth alters the body and sometimes damages it extremely. Giving away a full-term infant can be devastating even if it's for the best. [/quote]
And adoptive parents as well as adult adoptees are going nuts on twitter about the fact that Republicans are pretending that adoption is some universally marvelous option that always works out for the adoptee. It’s not. To give up a child that you have grown is a loss. To be forced to give up a child you cannot keep is a crime. Did forced birthers learn nothing in the decades when this was the default practice? [/quote]
