It's not a level.  You do realize there are Freshman teams that are stronger than Sophmore teams?  These decisions have nothing to do with level.  Now the only time LEVEL comes into play, is your kid is good enough to make the older age group team to stay in that SY.  If you kid is not, then kid is problem, not system.  Or simply, you can play on 2nd team at that SY.  [/quote]

Why would the kid have to be as good as the older group? Based on the new age groupings, the player is within the new designated age group. Why would an August player have to prove they are as good as the older group just because soccer and schools can't get aligned?[/quote]

Because if little betty or little joey's parents are obsessed with playing in year the kid graduates then if they may have a fight to win position on 2nd team of the graduating school year.  Most kids that are in this situation, if they are good enough, the club will let them stay on the graduating year team.  Meaning if they can truly compete and outplay the players up down and all around they will make an exception.  So if little betty or little joey's talent can not do so, maybe can compete to get on 2nd team of graduating year so parents will be happy  [/quote]
