It was horrifying that Roe was overturned, but I hope those “they’ll never do it” voters now realize that the GOP has left sanity behind. They’ll do whatever they damn well please. If that includes banning birth control (unless requested by a man), allowing abortion (as requested by a man), banning women from voting, banning women from working outside the house in most jobs, they will find a way. Project 2025 sweeps aside democracy and allows the GOP to install a theocracy that the Leonard Leo types have been baying for. [/quote]

+1. People really underestimate the lunacy coming from the extreme right and people like Leo. They have been emboldened by the success of their lies and their tricks, and they see no reason to hide anymore. They are coming at all of us with their bizarre self-flagellating hairshirt wearing cult crap.

With any luck, saner heads will eventually prevail, and Leo and his friends will be executed for their sedition and corruption and the ground they harvested salted forever.
