I've not followed the beef closely enough to take a side, but especially after this resolution it seems like it was so pointless and a negative for both in terms of reputation. I felt a little bad for her at the MET because she was trying so hard to look carefree and happy. She did look gorgeous but snapped a little at the train guy and seemed nervous.
This is the thing. I’m firmly in the believe women camp, but she just made it so hard. I’m just confused about why she would lie about things that they could so easily do there was additional context. It was totally clear that there was some inappropriate things happening on that set and Jenny and Blake were uncomfortable. It doesn’t seem like Isabella was and it seems like she was trying to get into Blake’s good graces, her deposition was saying I was comfortable onset, but then after a period of time I came to feel differently. They’re knowing the Blake bought her clothes and had her over for sleepovers and things left a bad taste in my mouth. But anyway, clearly there were some inappropriate activities, but it seemed to have all been rectified. They came to an agreement and there were texts from Blake herself saying the set was totally different in the second half and that things were running much more smoothly. So it really did seem like she was looking for someone to blame for the backlash and not holding any one accountable for bad behavior. There also just seems to be a lack of cohesiveness to her story and her journey. At first it was all about sexual harassment and raising awareness, etc., etc. and then when there’s claims thrown out the same spokesperson person came in front of us all and said it was always about the digital violence and retaliation. She was so upset by this and emotionally harmed, and her children were harmed and yet they’re on SNL 50th joking about it. Then in the same day they settle showing up at the met gala. So it’s just a lot of whiplash from her. There just doesn’t seem to be any kind of strategy to win the public over to her. I really think there is something about just laying low and going away for a while. But I thought she should’ve done that in 2024 instead of starting all this. At the end of the day, I’m not sure she’s better than where she was in August 2024 and she’s lost two years getting to a better place.
