Interesting that his lawyers wouldn't do what he wanted because they realized that it was illegal, but those who did do what he wanted now need legal counsel themselves.

I don’t think anyone is so surprised at what Trump is willing to do; I think some are surprised at how nakedly partisan ostensibly non-partisan judges are and how much the GOP does to protect Trump while pretending that Trump is a Democratically-created problem instead of him being a monster of their own creation.[/quote]

The problem is that the partisan judges and self-interested politicians help continue to normalize Trump for GOP voters. When you have a fragile, impressionable voter base, it's morally wrong to continue equivocating and obfuscating for more ratings and more funding.
