IMHO, ACB is not Catholic. She is far outside the mainstream and radical for Catholics. "People of Praise" is a secretive, nutty fringe group of Protestants and Catholics that mainstream Catholics never heard of  before ACB and would not recognize as Catholic if they stumbled into a meeting unknowingly. Similar to Opus Dei. Rome should officially dump them like they have done with other off the rails groups. They certainly don't speak for Catholics. When you learn about what they are into, you don't need to wonder why they felt the need to be "secretive" among other Catholics. They are much more aligned with Protestant Pentacostalism. [/quote]
