Okay, now she is blaming the tamoxifen. She said she is eating more, but losing more weight than ever before. She said she went to her oncologist and the doctor said it could be the tamoxifen, some people gain weight on it, some people lose. She said "truthfully" she eats more than she ever has, but is losing weight. Okay, G!
Why is that so hard to believe?
Because of her admitted, highly restrictive/obsessive/neurotic diet? Because everything about what she is saying compared to that admitted diet screams deflect, deflect, deflect! Weight loss doesn't make sense unless she's got a caloric deficit. She's saying she's eating more than ever, not that the medicine is causing appetite loss.
I would think that she has a malabsorbtion issue. She may very well be trying to gain weight but something about the medication is causing her body to not absorb the nutrients (calories) from her food.
It's especially difficult to absorb food that never entered your digestive tract.
You are convinced that she is not eating. Maybe she isn't I don't know. I have know way of knowing. But she is SAYING that the medication is causing her weight loss and that is not implausible. In fact, it is quite possible. Maybe it's a combination of a restricted diet and a reaction to the medication?
Addicts are glad you buy into their story/PR. It's denial like this that makes the co-dependency cycle possible.
