The founders were very worried about a central power (like England) running their lives. They really believed in LIBERTY and PERSONAL FREEDOMS. Note the importance of the BILL OF RIGHTS. This was not all about being white and wealthy. It was about wanting FREEDOM from England's tyrannical rule. The Constitution tries to prevent the kind of tyranny that suffocates. They were correct my friend. Freedom is always better. People will fight for it. [/quote]
