But don't say it's because it makes them smarter. It's actually the caring and attention a mother who is willing to do this also gives in other areas. It she is around enough to provide a drink for her child, she is most likely around to converse and attend to her mentally developing child. Many moms who choose not to breastfeed for personal and medical reasons are still engaging them mentally. [/quote]
