Don't you know students with C averages (grades assigned by the teachers you worship) who scored very well on standardized tests and conversely, students with A averages (teacher's pets) who for some reason or another never do well on standardized tests? What comentary can the teacher provide besides these facts. Without outside (external) tests for some students in the teacher's dog house their expert opinion is entirely worthless.
