Polling used to be more accurate, now it’s just a coping mechanism.[/quote] The polls in 2016 polls predicted Hilary getting 47% of the vote and Trump getting 43% of the vote. Hilary ended up with 48% of the vote and Trump ended up with 46% of the vote. Trump won largely on outperforming the polls in 3 states, Michigan Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. In 2024, all polls were within the margin of error but results learned towards Trump's end of the margin of error. In no case did we see 17% gaps or even 10% gaps. [/quote]
