I'm a strong supporter of race-blind admissions. I do support ensuring these opportunities are available to all students though not just those who can afford expensive test prep. Previously, 90%+ of those admitted were coming from a few wealthy feeders. Without test prep students from less affluent schools who lacked this privilege didn't have a chance. I'm glad they opened this up to all county residents not just those who live in affluent zip codes.[/quote] Why don't you believe black and hispanic people are capable of doing well on an objective measure of academic ability?
