Everyone who sexually abuses kids is a shithead. No brainer. If anyone or any organization covers it up instead of addressing it and protecting the kids first and foremost, you have more shitheads involved. Also no-brainer. If anyone or any organization not just covers it up but facillitates more abuse by putting that person back in charge of kids they can abuse, you've got a third level of shithead. Again, no-brainer. Holds true for everyone, across the board. I have yet to see an atheist disagree with that. I think I haven't seen any religious people disagree with that in this thread, but there does seem to be a lot of refocusing when the question is asked -- nonetheless, as far as I know, no direct defense of any of the shitheads. So that's 29 pages of driving around in circles like a clown car. They're all shitheads, all the abusers, lock them up. Done.
The thread is not over because that is a weak argument. The molestation is clearly, by all documented cases, investigations, arrests, etc, clearly being shown to be worse by non-atheists. Silverman, who was listed on this thread, kicked out because he assaulted two women. That’s great. Dawkins, literally said something, but did not do anything (other than write a book) was scrutinized by the media. There is no case against him because last I check the 1st amendment still exists. Third harris I have no fling clue. But in reality land. The majority of abuse is coming from houses of worship that sexually repress their clearly who in turn act out on the flock. The OP and any other offended person of faith on here has not presented a winning argument that atheism is the bigger threat or even a threat at all.
