Trump's got the lowest approval rating ever for a POTUS in his first year. This is reported by Fox News. You know it's bad when Fox News is reporting low poll numbers. 1. Pardon me. There was a seismic movement within the U.S. that was intended to yield a candidate to achieve seismic results. Is he perfect? NO but, he is who we have in office and we are reaping benefits of a Supreme Court Justice, stronger national defense, lower immigration flow, regulation relief, strong economy, focus on the middle class, etc.

2. I regretted my vote for a few days but, guess what? Because who gave North Korea nukes in the first place, people. Who supported NAFTA and we could hear the "giant sucking sound." Who voted *against* the interests of affinity groups some of you all have a Saviour Complex for? Whose party is making deals against the U.S. own interests but, in their own political and families' financial interests. You all make me feel more like a Democrat on social issues until we reach the budget. I see parallels between the media's obsession with harpooning this President and Herman Melville's Moby Dick. I'll be right here when the story breaks that the indictment is in but, 8 months of "Gotcha Now" is gonna turn him into a folk hero. Now, let's wait to hear what Susan Rice and Donald Trump Jr. have to say in their testimony.

1. How is our national defense stronger when Trump is alienating our allies?  How is it stronger when our military largely ignores him?
2. I hate to break it to you, but the majority of Rs in Congress voted in favor of TPP.  There are also many R  in Congress who support H1Bs. There are also many Rs in congress who don't want strong labor controls and higher minimum wage to help American workers.  Trump could help bring back jobs by starting with his own, but again,  you ignore that bit.

You realize that Trump is making an a$$ all by himself, without the media's help?  You think it's only the US media that lampoons him? Oh, dear, go read some international news source, and you'll see our's our pretty tame in comparison.

1. General Mattis makes our national defense stronger. General Kelly at DHS made our national defense stronger. LEA's are stronger when they have support to follow the laws on the books.
2. R&D can vote as they wish and eventually they will need to answer to their constituents who will decide. I support legal immigration 100%. The Clinton Admin couldn't even deal efficiently with guest worker program the states' agriculture geowers were begging for. This issue is older than all of us and I cut my political teeth supporting immigrant farm workers until I was denied an earned opportunity due to the color of my skin because, "this wasn't my fight."

Hi. I'm your +1 poster from above, and we are really in sync. Of the sources you list, I agree with all of them, except for the WP. It used to be only slightly biased to the left, but ever since Trump won the nomination, they have done a full-throttle NYT on us. Every single headline looks like it was written by a member of the oppo research team, and I can't tell the difference between the front page and the editorial section.

DP, but I agree with this.  We get the WP daily, and you're exactly right - it's pretty much turned into a sole-issue rag.  Take down Trump, at all costs.  We recently started getting the Wash. Times and it's much more balanced.  Thinking it's time to give up the Post altogether.  We just can't take it seriously anymore.[/quote]
