Just got my DS's wish v result, do you think he can get into the aap, I'm think to appeal for him. FSIQ :139, 99.5% GAI : 144, 99.8% VCI : 146, 99.9% VSI : 132, 98% FRI : 137, 99% WMI : 112, 79% PSI : 108, 70% Because he has low score on NNAT and Cogat, both are 123 and low GBRS, which is 8.
I would like to know that if my DS will be rejected this year, what can I do? I wanted to prepare the worst, thanks!
You can do a parent referral in the Spring of 2018 for admission in the 2018-19 school year. They'll do a new GBRS at that time. You can also request one test retake - most people recommend doing it for the CogAT. You'd have to request it this fall so the school adds him to the testing schedule. You'll also have the opportunity to do a new parent questionnaire and submit new work samples. Have you explored the gap among the subscores on the WISC? Seems like there may be some 2e stuff going on.
