Can you please elaborate on the pros and cons of using the base school vs. the center?

Do all the kids that go to the base school level iv have to be admitted by the ap committee?

My son got into AAP last school year and went to the center school.  I felt we made the wrong decision sending him there because his teacher was indifferent to him.  She would send me emails telling me he does not submit his work on time...always like that.  The teacher even jumped the gun on one occasion saying my son made an inappropriate comment in one of the group project in their computer lab but it turned out he was not the one who did it (investigated by an IT person).  To make up for that mistaken identity fiasco, the teacher volunteered to help my son in one of the subject that he was having difficulty.  Not only that, my son felt the teacher was picking on him.  Probably this AAP center school experience depends on the teacher, but we will see till the next school year in 5th grade.[/quote]
