He won't surrender.  He might unilaterally stop bombing Iran but then Iran won't be able to resist getting the last shot.  Which will lead to a resumption of bombing and the cycle starting up again.[/quote]

The military campaign has been effective.  The problem is that a war cannot be won with air power, or even force, alone.

The problem right now is that the belligerents are all led by douchebags.  None of whom are either magnanimous winners or losers.  Will any of the parties let their opposition get the last strike?[/quote]
