True, and a lot of that was tongue in cheek. But Studio has under-30 deals, the Shakespeare has "pay what you can" shows and I've seen Wooly Mammoth on living social.

Not everyone cares about theater, either, but I scoff at the suggestion that my peers are such big supporters of the arts when I see them drop more than the cost of a ticket on a bar tab.  Of course, they're so educated and open-minded, but all those natives (not to mention the people in va and md, oh the horror) are just dumb fossils.[/quote]
