As an ASA parent, I can tell you that they are very strict about not allowing parents inside the practice facilities, and most definitely not in the locker/changing rooms.  During meets at the same facility, all parents and coaches are required to use a separate bathroom that is monitored.[/quote]

This thread was created well before the WaPo article came out and it was publicly known who he was (diplomat, etc). The first connection that was reported by OP, who is an ASA parent presumably, is that the perp was also an ASA parent.

That's all. Every news comes from somewhere and it's rare to get the full picture when you get emergent news, as it was when the thread was first created.
