Her mother had Parkinson’s and was nearing the end, was still at home with BFF’s father and one of their daughters. A couple days before the mother died, the father (who was in his 80s but heretofore fine) had to go to the hospital because he had been having chest pains for days but “didn’t want to bother anyone.” [/quote]
