He apparently had a stroke in utero, so it's possible that the resulting cognitive & physical delays were misdiagnosed as autism.  [b]That said, she alludes to aggression against the other kids in the house, which is definitely something that can happen with autism.  [/b]My DS is very mildly impacted by his autism, but he has had periods of severe aggression to other kids.  I can't tell you how often I've been grateful that we never had a 2nd child -- that would be extremely hard to deal with his aggression towards a baby.  None of this excuses the adoptive parents, who should have considered all of this before adopting (and having another baby, wtf!)[/quote]
