Called it and I was literally fist-pumping during that scene.  Woo hoo! I'm going to have to watch the scene again to see if Fred realized at the last minute that Serena set him up.

I don't think Fred realized Serena set him up, he continued to be protective toward her. In his weak, pathetic way he did love her.

The Canadians can easily spin this, given that the Waterfords came to them of their own free will (a betrayal of Gilead).

That’s what always stood out to me. In his own weak, pathetic way he does love strong women (remember back in season 1 he enjoyed playing scrabble with June). He loved the strong Serena - like he even said he didn’t realize how much she would lose.

Will Canada willingly give Nichole to Serena? They must realize she too had a hand in creating Gilead. Could this also be a setup for Serena?[/quote]

I don’t see how Canada could give Nichole to Serena - she has no biological connection to the child. And she held down the birth mother while her husband raised her. The only plausible way Nichole goes to Serena is if Luke let’s her. [/quote]
