Of course this case is getting lots of attention. Rich people from Farmington, wealthy NY family, come on...if a woman who lived on Albany Ave in Hartford, the place where Fortis dumped all the bloody trash, had disappeared like this, it would not get this attention, because it is a poor and minority area. That's the sad truth. Here's another case that's not being widely reported-a young pregnant (single and black) USPS letter carrier disappeared on her way to work several months ago in Chicago. Her bf is being not cooperative. I only know about this because I work for the USPS and they are still looking for her-but it didn't make big news like this.
Is anyone going to the media on her behalf, posting missing person fliers, organizing search parties? If not, why not?
I assume you’re talking about this woman? It has been on NBC. There are flyers everywhere. Her father quit his job and moved to Chicago to focus completely on the search. Of course it’s not as high profile as the other case but it’s not like no one is paying any attention. https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/police-suspect-foul-play-in-disappearance-of-pregnant-postal-worker-498045481.html
She called in sick to work and was last spotted on surveillance camera walking by it in her postal uniform. Her car was found still in the parking lot. Police suspect foul play. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are confusing because she did call in sick, yet, still dressed for worked and then vanished. Did she possibly get into a car with someone else?
