Of course this case is getting lots of attention. Rich people from Farmington, wealthy NY family, come on...if a woman who lived on Albany Ave in Hartford, the place where Fortis dumped all the bloody trash, had disappeared like this, it would not get this attention, because it is a poor and minority area. That's the sad truth. Here's another case that's not being widely reported-a young pregnant (single and black) USPS letter carrier disappeared on her way to work several months ago in Chicago. Her bf is being not cooperative. I only know about this because I work for the USPS and they are still looking for her-but it didn't make big news like this.
Is anyone going to the media on her behalf, posting missing person fliers, organizing search parties? If not, why not?
Her union has, I'm in it too so that's how I knew about it. The USPS has also. On a local level, I get the impression that she's not a priority for law enforcement.
How is the media responding to your efforts? Are you distributing fliers? Have you organized search parties? If she doesn't have family out looking for her and getting her disappearance in the news then someone else is going to have to insist that she be found.
