They tried to build the appropriate pipeline, but then BRYC and Loudoun and Arlington all walked away from the pipeline arrangement over control issues. And all subsequently pursued something different and independent, whether ECNL or DA.

Spirit not only wanted these clubs to send their best players but we’re going to have to pay a fee to Spirit for the privilege of sending their best players to them. These club to club partnerships do not work. Director egos are too big.[/quote]
