* Their 01G team beat FCV's 01 team 7-0. They beat FCV's 00 team 5-0. they beat PWSI's 00/01 team 7-0. They didn't lose a single game this past fall.
* Their 04G team also beat FCV04 Elite 7-0 and PWSI 3-1.
* Their 06G team beat PWSI 6-1 and either beat or tied everyone else.
They have some very weak teams, but obviously they weren't just some joke club. That shows that this forum talks out of its butt and that even lowly little GFR may have a player or two in some age groups capable of competing at the next level.
You do realize those PWSI and FCV teams are B and C level teams for those clubs?
Yes, they smashed B teams. I didn't say the whole team should be moved over to DA, but smashing a B team does mean they aren't a crap club of no value. B teams feed into A teams. Results like that suggest there could always be a player or 2 that can play at the next level.
What is ODSC? B team? Isn't that where FCV DA's top 2 scorers came from?
Okay. That makes sense. PP is likely correct. GFR probably has a few kids in each age that could help WSVA. I don’t think they turn the tide of the program though.

Sense of entitlement and silly comments from Spirit parents on this forum and in real life. That’s why.

A longer established and higher quality feeder club in Pipeline is why.
Well WSVA is screwed if they are banking on the GF feeder being their saving grace.
WS VA did this to themselves too. They dropped anchor right in the middle of the shark tank with no bait. In my opinion this was totally predictable.
They tried to build the appropriate pipeline, but then BRYC and Loudoun and Arlington all walked away from the pipeline arrangement over control issues. And all subsequently pursued something different and independent, whether ECNL or DA.

and if I remember correctly, the fee was an outrageous amount.
Spirit not only wanted these clubs to send their best players but we’re going to have to pay a fee to Spirit for the privilege of sending their best players to them. These club to club partnerships do not work. Director egos are too big.
