Get off your high horse Mclean dont feel threatened by WSVA. Its only a matter of time untill all the good players flock to WSVA
If all good players FLOCK over to WSVA, what will happen to the existing players that comprise one of the worst GDA programs in the country? Hint: they won't be there so you will have to stop bragging about WSVA.
The “good players” from other clubs will have to be better than the current WSVA players in order to make the team. From what I’ve seen, the “good players” at other clubs aren’t very good when all players are compared. All you parents who think your kid is the best thing out there are just as delusional as you accuse the WSVA parents of being. Keep attacking Spirit, though. Just remember your delusion is showing.
You have reading comprehension problems? I quoted the post that said "Its only a matter of time until all the good players flock to WSVA". Why would they go there? To be part of one of the weakest GDA clubs in the country? And if they did, they would push out all the existing players that comprise those weakest GDA teams including what appears to be your daughter since you are a delusional WSVA parent. Oh wait, there is serious development happening only at WSVA and the results will show soon or maybe in 10 years. Give me a break. You want serious development, you need a much stronger staff than just one quality coach.
You’re pretty angry for some random soccer parent. Clam down. Clearly, you have some issue with Spirit. Guess your kid wasn’t good enough to make one of the “weakest GDA club in the country”. Keep trolling, though.
You responded to me with some irrelevant post and I pointed it out. On top of it, you suggest that the "good players" at other clubs aren't as good as those at WSVA. Please, for the love of god, help us all understand how this can be true when WSVA is one of the weakest GDA in the entire country from staff, talent, development and results standpoints. Other than those aspects, what else is there for you to be tooting your horn about? Free tickets to NWSL games? Please help us out here.
I think the question we need answered here is, why does it make you so visibly angry that parents at WSVA might be happy where they are? Winning or losing, maybe they see growth in their child and count that as a win. Maybe they feel like the coaches are working hard to develop players- it is a Development Academy, after all. Maybe they feel like the parents aren’t going to attack them verbally and/or physically on the sideline (as FCV parents are known to do) when their child has a bad game. Maybe their child is happy, and as a 12/13/14/15 year old, that’s really important. Maybe right now, they are in the right place. So, relax. Clearly your daughter isn’t there, so try to figure out how to be happy where you are and stop worrying about what WSVA parents are doing.
NP here. Thank you for saying this. You expressed our sentiments exactly. Winning isn't the only way to measure your kid's experience at a soccer club.
