I was shocked by the fellow parents I knew who declined to sign the petition to the board demanding the board be more transparent post-crisis, investigate, and hold guilty parties accountable- Parents who I thought might care about these things. My faith in humanity suffered greatly (still suffers, actually) during those awful first months. It’s shocking sometimes, the people who fail to rise to the occasion, defend the wounded. [/quote]
