"a neighbor who lived across the street from Defendant LAMB reported to Defendant LAMB that Defendant Fernandez was playing with students during outdoor recess in an inappropriate manner"
Someone from outside the community had to be the first whistleblower?! And they ignored that person. That was in 2014. The school could have avoided all of this. Hats off to the male teacher who knew something was going on and tried and tried to report it.

Well, I for one do not want another community like the part of the LAMB community that still exists that refuses to accept that the school royally screwed up and, at best was negligent, and children were irreversibly harmed. What are all you holier than thou LAMB boosters doing about that part of your community?

He was abruptly fired this week so who knows what’s going on with the administration
Was the principal involved in the negotiations with the affected families?

This is not true. There were people who did not believe the accusations, but not anymore.

What a horrifying story, I read the whole legal brief. Bowser has done a shot job overseeing not just DCPS but all aspects of public ed.
The brief is tldr but can anyone give us some quotes showing that some folks knew all along and did nothing? Jail indeed!
bump. Please?

There's a link in the OP as well, but the tweet linking to it gives a trigger warning for parents and, well, I'm a sensitive parent. So yeah, it's not so much a "too long didn't read" as a "too awful don't wanna."
