Now the Spanish queen may wear white to a papal mass that isn’t a funeral. [/quote] I'm always intrigued by people who just... say things on the internet when they obviously don't know what they are talking about and in this case... just make things up? Queens (or royal women of the highest rank in their countries, aka Princess Charlene of Monaco) of Catholic countries have "privilege du blanc", the privilege of white, wherein they are permitted to wear white in the presence of the Pope while everyone else wears black.
