I could be wrong, but is an acceptance on condition of a gap year a typical admission given to developmental cases? i.e. kids who have to be admitted based on
Ummm no not at all. Check their website, it's encouraged for any high school senior. People are so anxious to discredit this girl.
I couldn't agree more. Fortunately, she and everyone in her family don't give a flying sh*t about DCUMers issues with her going to Harvard. Count on it that there would NOT be over 20 pages on this matter if Malia were white. And I wish lazy people would do a little research before posting. There are numerous internet articles on the advantages of gap years and what colleges recommend and what some offer in the interim for gap students.
Welcome to Trump's America.
But then again, deferred placement is a Z-List. Developmental cases, people who have to be accepted because daddy gave money or connections. Having the academic merit is not enough. Nobody pays Sidwell school tuition and not expect kid to be Ivy material. At that tuition every kid is turned into ivy material. Money gets you advantage in more ways than one
