A week into this Trump/Johnson shutdown, I realize that I did not realize how exhausted I am. Mentally. Physically. Not looking for sympathy.

I am too. I am angry at the left because their extreme policies have led the country to vote for Trump.

That isn't entirely true.  There was a push for compelled speech that started in 2020 with BLM and was being further extended with the expectation of using correct pronouns

This opinion piece isn’t about pronouns in email signatures. I’ve never put my pronouns in my email signature and it was never an issue. I’ve never heard any complaints about pronouns and email signatures until Trump issued a mandate about email signatures.

My agency pressured employees to include their pronouns in email signatures. I included my pronouns because I was afraid about the potential consequences for not complying.  We were also required to use gender neutral language and attend countless trainings to “educate” us about gender, equity, and other woke concepts. I complied, but I took a stand at the ballot box and voted for Trump. While I’m not entirely fond of Trump’s policies, I prefer him over the alternative.[/quote]

What on earth?  I’m at one of the most “lefty” agencies and we had nothing like this.  Some people did it on their own but most didn’t.  I wish it was standard because I deal with so many international names that I have no basis to know what gender they are.[/quote]
