And that is Israel's everlasting vulnerability.  They can take Palestinian land and Palestinian bodies. But as long as they live on the land, they will know no peace. They are destined to become more militarized, more backwards, more reactionary.  No thinkers. Just thousands of little bezalels running around with no formal schooling.[/quote]

Netanyahu was never smart and never meant to be a leader. He rose to power because he funded Hamas and gave them weapons to bomb Israel promising to help them win and take over power from Yasser Arafat/PLO in the future, and he funded Jewish extremists and aided and abetted them. Rabin's widow still blames Netanyahu for her husband's assasination. Netanyahu has more in common with  Hamas  than left wing Israelis like Rabin. Hamas and Bibi had a similar vision: no two state solution ever, winner take all. The US is not Netanyahu's philosophical twin on this matter. Hamas is.

Look at how uncomfortable Netanyahu is in the clip below when Donald Trump says Palestinians are nice people who deserve a better life and theyre being used by extremists (the same ones Netanyahu funded).
