There’s no indication they weren’t a happy expectant family. Yes, he cheated and lied that he wasn’t married and that’s wrong but he only did that for sex.  Leaving Laci for Amber because he didn’t want the responsibility of a kid makes no sense because Amber was a single mom. He wanted to ditch being a father to be a stepdad? Amber was financially looking for a father figure for her daughter as the last man dumped her and sued her for lying about his paternity of the little girl.  Scott was probably going to dump her by January once he figured out she wanted a full time stepdad figure[/quote]
