I will say the "cuties" scene was ambiguous. He definitely said it, but seemed more clueless than anything else. My take is that he does want to grow up, and also can't stand being disliked. You know, because he's fun, genial Cole whom everyone normally likes. Just a very immature guy, who says thoughtless things but generally means well. Which is what Zanab seemed to come to in the end. Speaks volumes though that she had all the support in the group, including from the guys it seemed.[/quote]
