I feel a little bad for Colleen and Matt, because they're basically this season's Barnetts to Alexa and Brennon's Lauren and Cameron. Nobody cares about them or thinks they will last, so all the attention is on Alexa and Brennon. Who are damn cute together.

I will say the "cuties" scene was ambiguous. He definitely said it, but seemed more clueless than anything else. My take is that he does want to grow up, and also can't stand being disliked. You know, because he's fun, genial Cole whom everyone normally likes. Just a very immature guy, who says thoughtless things but generally means well. Which is what Zanab seemed to come to in the end. Speaks volumes though that she had all the support in the group, including from the guys it seemed.

I think it's become clear that this concept really only works for people who have really worked through any issues and pulled their sh$%t together before entering the pods.
Any issues: immaturity, past relationship hurt/baggage, poor esteem, whatever just get magnified by the speed of things and the ever-present camera crew.

If you're emotionally healthy and mature it can work beautifully! It not, stay away. I say this as someone who still had a lot of growing to do when at age 28 I met my now husband.
Ultimately we connected and have a strong marriage but we would not have faired well with a 7 week, on-camera romance.
