Not sure where it is myself, but just eyeballing the place and the location, that figure sounds off. 1.5M is the amount floating around on the interwebs, but heck I know people who paid that in Manhattan for an apartment the size of their wrap around terrace with practically a hot plate for a kitchen. It's like saying someone paid $250k for an 8,000 square foot, 6 BR house in Kalorama with a pool and tennis court. Something is off.[/quote]

Not necessarily true.  We have one in a nice building and it's only a studio.  It has a terrace and we bought it years ago for 500k and larger apartments on lower floors were going for $2 million plus.  [/quote]
