I agree it doesn't mean that he's rich but - pathetic? Give me a f-big break.
I know the building he lives in there is no way that his penthouse is only worth 1.5 million.
Ok the "pathetic" comment was mine and I didn't mean it the way it came across. It's not pathetic for regular people but it doesn't match the image he tries to portray of being a super successful business person. A highly successful single businessman in NYC would be able to afford a much bigger and nicer place. $1.5 million is just not that much in NYC.

Not sure where it is myself, but just eyeballing the place and the location, that figure sounds off. 1.5M is the amount floating around on the interwebs, but heck I know people who paid that in Manhattan for an apartment the size of their wrap around terrace with practically a hot plate for a kitchen. It's like saying someone paid $250k for an 8,000 square foot, 6 BR house in Kalorama with a pool and tennis court. Something is off.
And according to Million Dollar Listing New York developers make the penthouse the best and biggest and most expensive apartment in the building - not likely a modest one bedroom apartment.

Apparently the UES? Are the pickings that slim and the ratio so small in the 50+ singles scene that mediocre dudes with a few dollars in their pocket get so many womenor were we all punked by a storyline?

Her rush to marry he who will be gone soon - can we talk about what a shifty, beady-eyed, untrustworthy glob of a guy he is - was to keep her front and center on the show. Ms. Crackerjacks is as close to a narcissist as one can be and she would probably wither and die without the attention from the show. What's his name was good enough to marry to secure her spot for a season or two. She'll be front and center in the next season as everyone reacts to her divorce.
Agree- he is shady and never looks happy. Always looking around at other women.
