I'm not really in a position of second-guessing how professionals deal with an insane man with nuclear weapons.  But I don't blame Otto's parents for second-guessing the politicians.

+1 I was also thinking about the Iranian hostage crisis.  I believe they were released right after Reagan took office.[/quote]
