Thanks...My DS is smart and she is less talkative. that is making their teachers think that she is not smart. her GBRS is 7. She has perfect 4s and few 3s in academic. Not sure why AAP coordinator screwed up her GBRS. What kind of info can i put in appeal packet? like her small essays, etc? I feel that she is very less challenged in her school and all am trying to do is get that factor increased as her WICS Doctor also suggested her memory is very good and she can remember a lot as per result. Request group advise here please. may be am over optimistic and i might have to just take it easy and send her to normal classes. also her school has local AAP, not sure she will get in? Please advise

My DD WISC has come out ... Verbal Comprehension 113 ==> 81 percentile = High average Visual spatial index 102 ==> 55 percentile = average Fluid Reasoning Index 112 ==> 79 percentile = High average Working Memory index 117 ==> 87 percentile = High average processing speed ==> 116 ==> 86 percentile = High average Please advise if GT appeal works.
An appeal is not likely to be successful. My DS -- whom we did not try to get into AAP -- had similar scores. His were possibly depressed because of untreated ADHD. He is currently in advanced math and gen ed for the rest of the subjects, and I think that is right for him.

4s and 3s on the report card are meaningless. The AAP coordinator did not "screw up her GBRS" with a 7. A 7 score fits with the WISC score you've posted. I imagine the NNAT/COGAT scores were similar. This is an average FCPS kid.
